Outcome Measures

MOCSA’s 2005 outcome measures studies reflected client improvement in all areas and most significantly in the following areas:

  • Improved self esteem
  • Effectiveness at handling current problems
  • Improved relationships with others

Customer Satisfaction

  • MOCSA clients reported a 4.8 rating (5 is the highest) with the sensitivity and courtesy shown them by MOCSA staff. There was a 4.6 rating about the sexual assault and /or abuse information received being helpful to them.
  • The quality of prevention/education sessions was rated 4.7; more than 98% of those attending presentations would schedule a presentation again.

Government Funding Sources

Government sources include Federal Victims of Crime Act (from Kansas & Missouri), Missouri Division of Family Services-Children’s Treatment Services funds, Missouri State Services to Victims fund, Missouri Crime Victims Compensation, Missouri Federal STOP Violence Against Women Act, Missouri Federal Preventive Health and Human Services Block Grant Funds, Kansas and Missouri Federal Rape Prevention and Education Fund, Jackson County Family Court, Medicaid, Kansas Protection from Abuse Fund, Johnson County Juvenile Justice, Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, and Jackson County Mental Health Levy Funds.

Neighborhood Assistance Program

MOCSA is a project of the Missouri Neighborhood Assistance Program. Any entity filling a business income tax form for the state of Missouri may be eligible to claim up to 50 percent credit on Missouri taxes for a donation to MOCSA.

Annual Audit

MOCSA’s 2005 financials will be audited by Dana F. Cole and Company, certified public accountants. A full audit report will be made available upon request. Click here to view charts of MOCSA's 2005 revenues and expenses.

  • Portions of revenues exceeding expenses were designated for the Sustaining Hope Campaign. Endowment funds are housed at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and Women’s Foundation of Greater Kansas City.
