4,996 calls were recieved requesting crisis counseling and assistance.
Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Program
799 clients were provided 8,499 hours of services, including 201 children, 218 adults survivors, 53 clients reported having a disability, 59 adult offenders, 69 adolescent offineders and 252 significant others, this includes 247 non-offending parents and 5 siblings of child victims.
Sexual Assault Intervention Services
418 individuals received 1,774 hours of service - 210 adults, 63 adolescents received individual counseling and support group services; 145 victims received 286 hours of hospital and/or court advocacy services.
Services for Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse
More than 224 individuals utilized this program; 8 weekly support groups and 3,287 hours of service were provided; More than 100 attended education programs which includes3 retreats to the House of Munuha. Approximately, 1,000 people received the SURE Talk newsletter.
Community and Professional Education
More taht 41,000 people were reached through MOCSA,s education efforts which include more than 1,903 hours of service provided by MOCSA staff and volunteers.
1,316 professionals received training; 634 on sexual assault and date rape; 409 on child sexual abuse and adult survivor issues; and 273 on general agency and sexual violence issues.
10,980 were reached through Project Aware, MOCSA’s child sexual abuse prevention program. 10,244 elementary and special education students, and736 school personnel and parents attended presentations.
18,011 middle and high school students were served through education and outreach programs: 4,851 learned date rape and sexual assault prevention; 5,423 learned about safety and developing healthy relationships; 331 attended presentations on child sexual abuse and adult survivor issues; 6,287 learned about sexual harassment; 982 received information about general agency and sexual violence issues. 801 teachers and parents attended youth education sessions.
2,013 youth participated in intensive multi-session programming provided through schools and other youth-serving social service agencies.
9007 lay persons participated in community education offerings. 160 learned about child sexual abuse and adult survivor issues, 2,273 learned sexual assault and rape prevention, 157 attended presentations about safety and healthy relationships, and 6,309 received information on general agency and sexual violence issues. 108 used the MOCSA Resource Library.

MOCSA Volunteers
251 MOCSA Volunteers, including Board of Directors, Program and Committee Volunteers and Agency Interns, provided 24,320 hours of service totaling a cash equivalent of $390,336 (based on the average hourly value of volunteer time, $16.05, Independent Sector, 2002)

There were a number of special outreach and educational events in 2005, including: activities related to Sexual Assault Awareness month, a presentation at the Protect Our Children Regional Conference; presentations a National conferences- The Center for Disease Control's (CDC) Annual Conference for Rape Prevention Education, a CDC web seminar on Evaluating Sexual Violence Prevention Education in Schools, and the National Conference on Sexual Assault in Our Schools; the Pryor Leadership Seminar featuring Linda Moore, PhD; the Annual Community Luncheon featuring Claudia Bayliff, JD; the Johnson County Fall Breakfast; and the Wyandotte County Community Breakfast.
