Internships at MOCSA

MOCSA partners with local universities to provide field learning opportunities for students earning undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work, counseling and human services. Requests from students seeking internships or service learning opportunities on an individual basis, and/or for summer or semester long timeframes, are fully reviewed and considered based on the student and agency’s needs and requirements.

Internship/practicum responsibilities include providing crisis line and advocacy support to clients, and may include facilitating individual and group counseling services, organizing community education and outreach efforts, and assisting with program development and event planning.

UPDATE: Thank you for your interest in MOCSA for your internship.  Currently we are full for all levels of internships for the entire 2011-2012 season.  We will be accepting Bachelor’s level interns for the summer of 2012 and resume accepting applications for Master’s level Interns in the late Spring for the Fall of 2012.  We appreciate your interest in our organization.  For further interest in becoming a MOCSA volunteer (as a non-Intern), please refer to the volunteer opportunities page on this website.
