Community-level Prevention

Through our community coalitions around the metro, MOCSA and our partners are addressing violence at its root. By working together with other organizations, neighborhood residents, city and county agencies, schools and faith communities, we can prevent sexual violence before it happens by connecting neighbors, changing policies, and making our communities more equitable.

MOCSA facilitates community prevention coalitions in Wyandotte County, Johnson County and Kansas City, MO. Learn more in this video about how MOCSA and our partners are working together to prevent violence.
